Hamvention is in the books
Another Hamvention is officially in the books. The event was packed with the usual buzz of excited hams, overflowing flea market tables, and vendor halls full of the latest gear. Wandering the grounds felt like stepping into one big family reunion mixed with a giant electronics swap meet.
Reconnecting with old friends was the highlight. Familiar faces from around the country brought plenty of laughs, stories from the past year, and good-natured teasing. It’s always great catching up in person after months of only talking on the air.
The weekend also brought new friendships, sparked by casual conversations in the aisles or while checking out new radios together. Those chance meetings and shared interests made the whole trip worthwhile. Already counting down to next year
