Happy Mother’s Day – Big Week Ahead!

Happy Sunday everyone! First, take a minute to let your mom or wife know how much you appreciate them.

This is going to be a busy week. I’m hitting the road Wednesday morning and heading to the Dayton Hamvention. I’ll be meeting up with Jeff (K3JRZ) and Mike (KE0VIM) to stay in an Airbnb for the rest of the week.

Our day will kick off sometime Thursday when we head over to the fairgrounds to pick up our media passes. From there, the rest of the week will be a blur.

I’ll be joining Jason (KC5HWB) tonight on his weekly Sunday night live stream along with a group of HamTubers. Look for more information below on the live stream details.

When the Bands Fight Back – Sunday Stream Story

I tried to do a Sunday morning live stream, and let’s just say it didn’t go as planned. The bands were fluctuating wildly — you could hear stations fading in and out multiple times during each QSO.

I had also planned to talk about a new APRS project I had downloaded and set up using the Toads Digital Interface and the Toads DI6 Daughter Board. Unfortunately, connectivity issues back to the compound prevented me from connecting to the APRS server in the shack.
